Call for Submissions! Write a love letter to your body.

glitterpolitic:

innerfatgirl:

So this zine I am working on has sort of gotten bigger than just something I am handing out to some undergrads. I want to make it bigger so I encourage you all to submit more things to erinlegay@gmail.com or in my hot gay ask box. One thing I would really love is if you would write a love letter…

I decided to ask others to do this in a joy filled moment of whim & fancy, and have had a really positive response. It has been really wonderful and I hope everyone continues to submit and participate. The project really fits in with what Glitter Politic is all about, which is really neat also. That means that instead of making a zine about fat activism with some love letters (as originally planned) I am going to allow these love letters to stand alone, (in zine/book format) as an example of ‘self love blown open’.  As my friend Etiquette, etc. (go follow now) said, “one of the most beautiful and decolonizing things one can do is tell themselves that they love themselves”.

Under Construction Ya’ll!

We’re still gathering resources to put up on here, but one of the things you should know is that we’re in the process of creating a “make-your-own-safer-sex kit” station at the centre. We want to use this blog to give you practical tips on how to use the supplies we offer here - as well as a space to post information on consent, and all other safer sex and sex positivity tid bits!
